Then it presents your surrounding environment in a composite bird's-eye perspective on the in-dash color monitor1. When activated, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range)1 provides the benefits of cruise control with the options of adding speed and distance intervals. In slowing traffic, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range) provides the added advantage of slowing your vehicle as traffic slows, helping you maintain a safe distance - then re-accelerates to your pre-set speed and distance as traffic flow picks up. While industry-first Distance Control Assist2 intuitively helps the driver release the throttle and applies the brakes as needed in slowing traffic.

Using the system's laser range finder, Forward Collision Warning helps alert the driver of a potential collision by providing a visual and audible warning. Then it will apply the brakes to certain wheels to help move the vehicle back into its lane.

By sensing the speed of the vehicle, as well as the angle of the steering wheel, WAS seamlessly adjusts the ratio of the front wheels and the angle of the rear wheels to give you ideal control for the speed of the turn. The system gives you improved turning response, allowing you to corner tightly with less steering wheel motion.
Intelligent All-Wheel Drive
Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive provides power and support where and when you need it, instantly adapting to the changing conditions of the road. By constantly calculating wheelspin, throttle position and vehicle speed, this system automatically diverts up to 50% of the available power to the front wheels, enhancing traction and control when conditions are less than optimal. When all-wheel drive is not needed, the system sends 100% of the power to the rear wheels for more responsive road performance.
