Infiniti M and EX Receive Initial Quality Awards
June 4, 2008 – The quality of Infiniti design has been rewarded again,
this time by J.D. Power and Associates, who has named the Infiniti M
the "Highest Ranked Midsize Premium Car in Initial Quality in a Tie"[1]. and the Infiniti EX the "Highest Ranked Entry Premium Vehicle in Initial Quality"[2]. The J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Initial Quality StudySM
is the industry benchmark for new-vehicle quality measured at 90 days

Infiniti Wins ALG Luxary Brand Residual Value Award
April 1, 2008 - Automotive Lease Guide(ALG), the standard for
Residual Value projections in North America, has honored Infiniti with
its ALG 2008 Luxury Brand Residual Value Award - recognizing Infiniti
as the luxury brand forecasted to hold its value better than any other.
Infiniti's triumph marks the first time a manufacturer other than
Mercedes-Benz, BMW or Lexus has won the award, further signaling the

Infiniti EX35 earns TOP SAFTEY PICK award from the IIHS
Affording "superior overall crash protection among vehicles in its class," the all-new Infiniti EX35 has earned an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety TOP SAFETY PICK award for 2008, their highest honor. In describing the Institute's tough award criteria, ìintended to drive continued safety improvements such as top crash test ratings and rapid addition of electronic stability control (ESC)," Institute president Adrian Lund praised the EX35 as a "leader in its class for state-of-the-art-safety," specifically mentioning Infiniti's inclusion of Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) - an ESC system - on every EX35. According to Institute research, ESC helps drivers maintain control in the worst situation - loss of control at high speed - lowering the risk of a fatal single-vehicle crash by about half and the risk of a fatal rollover crash by as much as 80 percent.

Infiniti VQ Engine Named one of 10 Best for 14th Straight Year
Maintaining its status as the only engine to make the list every year, the VQ-series V6 currently found in the Infiniti G35 Sedan, G37 Coupe, FX35, EX35 and M35 has been named as one of Ward's 10 Best Engines for a record 14th straight year[1]. In order to be nominated, the engine must be, among other things, available in a vehicle with a base price of no more than $54,000.
